Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using cramup.in — including browsing the site, reading a free chapter, creating an account, or making a purchase — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our No Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use CramUp.

About CramUp

CramUp is an online educational platform that publishes and sells academically condensed course books for BEd students. Our content is designed to help students cover their full syllabus efficiently, particularly for exam preparation.

CramUp is operated by CramUp Educational Services, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. The platform is hosted at cramup.in.

Accounts and Registration

CramUp uses a payment-first model. You do not need to create an account before purchasing. When you complete a purchase, your account is created automatically from the phone number and email address you provide at checkout.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate contact information (name, phone, email) at the time of purchase
• Keeping your login credentials (email and password) confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make a purchase. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase on your behalf.

Device Limit and Account Sharing

Each CramUp account may be active on a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously. This limit is enforced via session monitoring. If you attempt to log in on a third device while two sessions are already active, you will be prompted to log out from one of your existing sessions first.

Legitimate use of 2 devices includes, for example, accessing CramUp on both your phone and your laptop. It does not include sharing your account with another student.

If you experience a device-limit error due to a technical issue (not account sharing), please contact support at hello@cramup.in and we will resolve it.

Purchases, Pricing, and Access Duration

CramUp offers three purchase types:

• Single Book — access to one specific book for 2 years from the date of purchase
• Semester Bundle — access to all books for one semester for the duration of that semester (approximately 4–6 months from purchase)
• Full Degree Plan — access to all books across the 2-year BEd programme, for 2 years from the date of purchase

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include all applicable taxes. Prices may change from time to time; the price displayed at the time of your purchase is the price you pay.

Access duration begins from the date of confirmed payment, not from the date you first open a book. We recommend purchasing when you are ready to begin using the content.

No Refund Policy

All purchases on CramUp are final and non-refundable. Digital content is delivered immediately upon payment confirmation, and no refund will be issued regardless of whether the content has been read or used.

Please read our full No Refund Policy before purchasing. The free Chapter 1 preview available for every book is provided so you can make an informed purchase decision before committing.

The only exception is verified duplicate payments, which are refunded within 7–10 business days. See the No Refund Policy for the process.

Content Licence and Intellectual Property

All content on CramUp — including but not limited to book text, unit structure, chapter content, test questions, previous year question paper compilations, graphics, logos, and platform design — is the intellectual property of CramUp Educational Services and is protected by Indian copyright law.

When you purchase a book on CramUp, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read that content on cramup.in for the duration of your access period. This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content
• Download, screenshot, or save content for offline use
• Share, sell, or sublicence content to any third party
• Use content for commercial purposes, including teaching, coaching, or resale
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the platform

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following when using CramUp:

• Sharing your account credentials with any other person
• Attempting to circumvent the 2-device limit through technical means
• Copying, screenshotting, or recording any paid content
• Using automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access or extract content
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the admin panel or any other user's account
• Filing false payment disputes or chargebacks after receiving access to purchased content
• Impersonating another student, admin, or CramUp staff member
• Using the platform in any way that violates Indian law
• Interfering with the platform's security, performance, or availability

Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, and may be reported to relevant legal authorities.

Free Preview

Chapter 1 of every book on CramUp is available to read for free, without creating an account. This free preview is provided so that prospective students can evaluate the quality, style, and content depth of our books before purchasing.

The free preview is subject to the same content licence restrictions as purchased content — it may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially.

Notifications and Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive the following types of communications from CramUp:

• Transactional messages — purchase confirmations, login credentials, account alerts. These are mandatory and cannot be opted out of.
• Academic nudges — non-aggressive reminders about upcoming semesters, unpurchased books relevant to your programme, or exam season notices. These are informational and respectful of your time.

We do not send promotional spam. We do not share your contact details with third-party marketers. You may contact us at any time to request reduced communication frequency.

Referral and Affiliate Programme

Referral (Student-to-Student): When a registered student shares their referral link and a new student makes a qualifying purchase through that link, the referee may receive a discount on their purchase. The referrer may receive a credit or benefit as communicated at the time of the referral offer. CramUp reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time.

Affiliate Programme (Institutions and Educators): Colleges, coaching institutes, and individual educators may apply to join the CramUp Affiliate Programme. Accepted affiliates earn a commission on purchases made through their unique affiliate link. Commission rates, payment terms, and programme rules are communicated separately in the Affiliate Agreement.

Referral and affiliate benefits are non-transferable, have no cash value unless explicitly stated, and cannot be applied retroactively to past purchases. Fraudulent referral activity (e.g., creating fake accounts to generate referral credits) will result in account termination and forfeiture of all benefits.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CramUp provides the platform and content "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

• That the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• That the content will guarantee a specific academic outcome or exam result
• That the platform will be compatible with all devices or browsers

We make every effort to ensure the academic accuracy of our content, but we do not guarantee that all content reflects the most current syllabus version at your specific university. You are responsible for cross-referencing with your official university syllabus.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, CramUp Educational Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of academic opportunity, or exam failure.

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from your use of CramUp shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim.

Termination

CramUp reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms of Use
• You engage in fraudulent activity (including false chargebacks)
• You share your account or attempt to circumvent platform restrictions
• Your account is associated with a disputed or reversed payment

Upon termination, your access to all purchased content is immediately revoked. No refund will be issued for terminated accounts regardless of the remaining access duration.

You may also delete your own account at any time by contacting us at hello@cramup.in. Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any dispute before initiating formal legal proceedings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email to active account holders.

Continued use of CramUp after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with updated terms, you must stop using the platform.
