Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using cramup.in — including browsing the site, reading a free preview chapter, creating an account, or making a purchase — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our No Refund Policy. These three documents together constitute the entire agreement between you and CramUp Educational Services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use CramUp.

If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an institution, organisation, or another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity or person to these terms.

About CramUp

CramUp is an online educational content platform that publishes and sells academically condensed, exam-aligned course books for BEd students and CTET aspirants across India. Our content is built around specific university syllabi and national examination patterns, designed to help students cover their full academic programme efficiently.

CramUp is operated by CramUp Educational Services, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, operating under Aarambh Learning Hub. The platform is accessible at cramup.in.

CramUp is an educational aid platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any university, examination board, or government body. Content on CramUp supplements — and does not replace — official university study material.

Eligibility and Age Requirement

To use CramUp and make a purchase, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or be a student enrolled in a recognised BEd programme or preparing for CTET.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
• Not be barred from receiving services under applicable Indian law.

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the platform. By completing a purchase on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms of Use in their entirety.

CramUp reserves the right to verify eligibility and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

Accounts and Registration

CramUp uses a payment-first model. You do not create an account before purchasing. When you complete a purchase, your account is automatically created using the phone number and email address you provide at checkout.

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information (name, phone number, email address) at the time of purchase.
• Keep your login credentials (email and password) strictly confidential and not share them with any third party.
• Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@cramup.in if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
• Ensure that your registered phone number and email address remain accurate. If they change, update your account details promptly by contacting us.

Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access limits, referral restrictions, or pricing is a violation of these terms.

Device Limit and Account Sharing

Each CramUp account may be active on a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously. This limit is technically enforced via session monitoring. If you attempt to log in on a third device while two active sessions already exist, you will be prompted to log out from one existing session before proceeding.

Legitimate use of 2 devices includes, for example, accessing CramUp on both your smartphone and your laptop for personal study purposes. It does not include sharing your account with another student, regardless of the reason.

Attempts to technically circumvent the device limit — including through browser manipulation, VPNs, or session spoofing — are prohibited and will result in account suspension.

If you encounter a genuine technical device-limit error (not caused by account sharing), contact support at hello@cramup.in and the issue will be resolved.

Purchases, Pricing, and Access Duration

CramUp offers the following purchase types:

• Single Book — access to one specific book for 2 years from the date of purchase.
• Semester Bundle — access to all books for one semester for the duration of that semester (approximately 4–6 months from purchase date).
• Full Degree Plan — access to all books across the full 2-year BEd programme, for 2 years from the date of purchase.

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes including GST. Prices are subject to change; the price displayed at the time of your confirmed purchase is the price you pay. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.

Access duration begins from the date of confirmed payment, not from the date you first open a book or log in. We recommend purchasing when you are ready to begin using the content.

CramUp reserves the right to modify the range of products, plans, and pricing at any time. The addition or discontinuation of any product or plan does not entitle previously purchasing students to refunds or plan changes.

No Refund Policy

All purchases on CramUp are final and non-refundable. Digital content is accessible immediately upon payment confirmation, and no refund will be issued regardless of whether the content has been read, used, or how much time remains on the access period.

Please read our full No Refund Policy before purchasing. The free Chapter 1 preview available for every book — readable without an account — is provided so you can make a fully informed purchase decision.

The only exception to the no-refund rule is verified duplicate payments (the same transaction charged more than once due to a gateway error), which are refunded within 7–10 business days of verification. See the No Refund Policy for the full process.

Content Licence and Intellectual Property

All content on CramUp — including but not limited to book text, unit structure, chapter content, practice questions, previous year question paper compilations, answer frameworks, flowcharts, progress checklists, unit tests, graphics, logos, platform design, and source code — is the exclusive intellectual property of CramUp Educational Services and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable intellectual property law.

When you purchase a book on CramUp, you are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to read that content on cramup.in for the duration of your access period, solely for your personal academic study. This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, print, or redistribute any content in whole or in part
• Take screenshots, screen recordings, or photographs of any content
• Download, cache, or save content for offline use
• Share, sell, sublicence, or otherwise transfer access to any third party
• Use content for commercial purposes, including coaching, teaching, resale, or distribution
• Create derivative works, adaptations, or compilations based on our content
• Use any automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract content from the platform
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

Any unauthorised use of CramUp's intellectual property constitutes copyright infringement and may expose you to civil and criminal liability under Indian law. CramUp reserves the right to take legal action against infringement, including seeking injunctive relief, damages, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

Prohibited Conduct

By using CramUp, you agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Sharing your account credentials with any other person for any reason
• Attempting to circumvent the 2-device limit through any technical means
• Copying, screenshotting, screen-recording, or otherwise reproducing any paid or free content
• Using automated tools, scripts, scrapers, or bots to access, extract, or archive content
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the admin panel, another user's account, or any restricted area of the platform
• Filing false payment disputes or chargebacks after receiving access to purchased content
• Impersonating another student, CramUp staff member, or administrator
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, referral limits, or pricing
• Using the platform to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful or unlawful content
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the platform
• Interfering with the platform's security, performance, infrastructure, or availability
• Using CramUp in any manner that violates applicable Indian or international law

Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund. Serious violations — including copyright infringement, fraud, or hacking — will be reported to relevant legal authorities. CramUp reserves the right to pursue civil remedies for damages caused by prohibited conduct.

Free Preview

Chapter 1 of every book on CramUp is available to read for free, without creating an account or making any payment. This free preview is provided to enable prospective students to evaluate the quality, style, depth, and relevance of our content before committing to a purchase.

The free preview is subject to the same content licence restrictions as purchased content — it may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or used for any commercial purpose. Accessing the free preview does not create a contractual relationship or entitle you to any additional access.

Notifications and Communications

By creating an account on CramUp, you agree to receive the following categories of communication from us:

• Transactional communications — purchase confirmations, login credentials, account alerts, security notices, and policy updates. These communications are essential to the delivery of your purchased product and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
• Academic notifications — non-aggressive reminders about upcoming semesters relevant to your programme, newly published books for your university, or exam season notices. These are informational and limited in frequency. You may request reduced communication by emailing us.

We do not send unsolicited promotional spam. We do not share your contact details with third-party marketers or advertising networks. All communications are sent from cramup.in domains or our registered WhatsApp business number.

Referral and Affiliate Programme

Student Referral Programme: Where CramUp operates a referral programme, a registered student may share a unique referral link. When a new student makes a qualifying first purchase through that link, both parties may receive a benefit (such as a discount or account credit) as communicated at the time of the referral offer. CramUp reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the referral programme at any time without notice. Referral benefits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be applied retroactively to past purchases.

Affiliate Programme (Institutions and Educators): Colleges, coaching institutes, and individual educators may apply to participate in the CramUp Affiliate Programme. Accepted affiliates earn a commission on purchases made through their unique affiliate link. Commission rates, eligibility conditions, payment schedules, and programme rules are set out in a separate Affiliate Agreement issued at the time of acceptance.

Fraudulent referral or affiliate activity — including creating fictitious accounts, self-referrals, or falsifying purchase records to generate credits or commission — will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all accrued benefits, and may be subject to legal action for fraud.

Third-Party Services and Links

CramUp uses third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Firebase (database and authentication), Google Analytics (analytics), and Hostinger (hosting). Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. CramUp is not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers beyond the scope of our agreements with them.

cramup.in may contain links to external websites or resources for informational purposes. CramUp does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

Platform Changes and Discontinuation

CramUp reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature, content, product, or the platform itself at any time, with or without notice. We may add new subjects, remove outdated content, redesign the platform, or change technical infrastructure as part of normal product development.

In the event of platform discontinuation: If CramUp decides to permanently shut down the platform, we will provide affected active subscribers with a minimum of 30 days' advance notice by email to their registered address. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure users have access to content they are actively using during this notice period. Beyond this notice obligation, CramUp does not guarantee continued availability of the platform or any specific feature indefinitely.

Content updates — including syllabus revisions, corrections, or additions — are made at our discretion. Updates to purchased content during your access period are provided at no additional cost where reasonably practicable. We do not guarantee that purchased content will be updated to reflect syllabus changes made by universities after your purchase date.

Force Majeure

CramUp shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms of Use to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fire, epidemics, pandemics, government orders or regulatory actions, internet service disruptions, third-party infrastructure failures (including cloud provider outages), cyberattacks, strikes, civil unrest, or war.

In the event of a force majeure event that prevents or delays your access to purchased content, we will extend your access period by the duration of the disruption upon your request. This is our sole obligation in such circumstances; we are not required to issue any monetary refund.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CramUp provides the platform and all content "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CramUp Educational Services expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including:

• That the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or malicious code
• That content will guarantee any specific academic outcome, examination result, or grade
• That content is fully up to date with your specific university's current syllabus version at all times
• That the platform will be compatible with all devices, browsers, or operating systems
• That any specific content, feature, or plan will remain available for any particular duration

CramUp is an educational supplement. Exam performance depends on many factors outside our control, including individual study effort, university examination standards, and personal circumstances. We make every effort to ensure academic accuracy, but we do not warrant that all content reflects the most current version of your specific university's syllabus. You are responsible for cross-referencing our content with your official university study material and syllabus documents.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of India, CramUp Educational Services, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform or content, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or reading progress
• Loss of academic opportunity or examination failure
• Interruption of service or temporary unavailability of content
• Errors or inaccuracies in content
• Unauthorised access to your account by a third party

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any claim arising from your use of CramUp — regardless of the basis of the claim — shall not exceed the total amount you paid to CramUp in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CramUp Educational Services, its operators, affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the platform in violation of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of CramUp or any third party
• Any fraudulent activity, including false chargebacks or referral fraud, committed by you
• Incorrect or false information provided by you at the time of registration or purchase

Termination

CramUp reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to all purchased content at any time, with or without prior notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms of Use
• You engage in fraudulent activity, including filing false chargebacks or creating fictitious referral accounts
• You share your account credentials with another person
• You attempt to circumvent the device limit or platform security measures
• Your account is associated with a disputed, reversed, or fraudulent payment
• Your use of the platform causes harm to CramUp, other users, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to access all purchased content is immediately and permanently revoked. No refund will be issued for terminated accounts, regardless of remaining access duration. CramUp's right to use data collected during your use of the platform for legal, compliance, and dispute resolution purposes survives termination.

Voluntary account deletion: You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@cramup.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request — [Your Registered Phone Number]". Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund. Purchase and payment records will be retained for the legally mandated 7-year period.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, or your use of CramUp, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts and waive any objection to them.

Good-faith resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith. If you have a dispute, email us at hello@cramup.in with the subject line "Dispute — [Your Name]", clearly describing the issue and your proposed resolution. We will respond within 7 business days.

Severability and Entire Agreement

Severability: If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy and the No Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CramUp Educational Services with respect to your use of the platform, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, understandings, or agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the same subject matter.

No waiver: CramUp's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms at any time shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it in the future.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes — changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations — will be communicated by updating the "Effective" and "Last Updated" dates at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email to active account holders at least 7 days before the change takes effect.

Minor clarifications or non-material edits may be made without individual notification. Continued use of CramUp after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to updated terms, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion as described in Section 19.
